Experience 

Since 2012, she has been teaching SAT and TOEFL to new immigrant Chinese students in Southern California and helping students plan and contact volunteer activities, internships, and community services. Since 2014, she has been serving as a high-end college application consultant and writing instructor. She mentored students all along their high school lives, tapped their potentials, and advised on application essays. She is familiar with and professional in all the important application processes, such as school selection, background planning, writing documents guidance, interview training, etc. Besides, she has years of research experience studying academic performance of new immigrant students in the Chinese-dominant area of Southern California. She has been interviewed face to face with numerous local school teachers and principals. Thus, she has decent understanding of American education system and Western Campus culture.

Over the past five years, she has helped more than 500 students to successfully apply for their ideal undergraduate programs, transfer-school, graduate and doctoral programs. Some successful applications to prestigious universities include Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, MIT, Columbia, U Penn, U of Chicago, John Hopkins, Duke, Northwestern, Cornell, UCLA, UC Berkeley, USC, NYU, UNC, UVA, BC, UCSD, BU, etc.
